A public information meeting to update the proposed removal of the Inner Loop on the east side of Rochester is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 6Pm at City Hall.
Design consultants will give a presentation of the project, preliminary design alternatives will be discussed, and suggestions from the public will be taken.
The project, when completed, would eliminate almost one mile of the expressway between Monroe Avenue and Charlotte Street and replace it with an at-grade street, in what the mayor says will be a move that will benefit the entire city.
