Vuzix Corporation, the Henrietta based seller of video eyewear products, said Tuesday that it has secured $200,000 in private placement financing in a deal with Hillair Capital Investments L.P.
The agreement is subject to approval by the Toronto Stock Exchange, on which Vuzix trades.
The company is awaiting approval to begin trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
Vuzix’s shares in Canada were trading Wednesday at $6.05 a share, up 14 cents from Tuesday’s close.
